About Fabrizio

Fabrizio Marsilli, Intermediate week.

Fabrizio is an Italian native and lifelong educator. He earned his degree in Modern Letters from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, graduating with full honors (110/110 e lode), and went on to complete an MBA in International Business at National University in San Diego.

He co-founded the Italian Association of San Diego and has spent years teaching Italian to adults and children at the Italian Cultural Center and beyond. His classes lean on real conversation, cultural context, and a patient ear for learners who are finally ready to speak.

At Ancora, Fabrizio leads Week 2 (Oct 18 – 24, 2026), the intermediate week for learners who can handle simple conversations and want to feel confident speaking.

Week 1 · Beginners

Beginner teacher: to be announced.

We're finalizing the specialist teacher for Week 1 (Oct 11 – 17, 2026), our beginners' week. They'll be a native Italian speaker with the same small-group, conversation-first approach that defines Ancora. We'll introduce them here as soon as it's set.

How we teach

Small groups. Real Italian.

Mornings are three focused hours: structured grammar first, then a break, then conversation, games and cultural topics, all with the same teacher and the same group of eight students. No shuffling, no strangers, just a class that gets sharper each day.

Afternoons take the language out of the classroom: market visits, cooking, walks through Salemi. By Friday you'll be ordering at the bar in Italian and meaning it.
